ACCOMMODATION REVIEW
Trident HotelThe 4 Star Trident Hotel enjoys an enviable location overlooking the stunning harbour of Kinsale and is the closest hotel to the world renowned Old Head Golf Links. Extensively redeveloped, the Trident now offers 75 tastefully decorated bedrooms including 30 Executive Bedrooms and 11 Luxury Suites. The generous Master Suites boast a large furnished balcony from which to enjoy a leisurely drink after a day on the golf course. All rooms have stunning harbour views and offer complimentary high-speed Internet access and pay-per-view movies.

With the well deserved accolade of Ireland's Gourmet Capital, Kinsale boasts many fine restaurants & bars offering superb cuisine, and the Trident is no exception. The hotel's Pier One Restaurant is a member of the famous ‘Kinsale Good Food Circle’ and fresh Seafood is a speciality. From it’s elevated location, Pier One is the most spectacularly located restaurant in Kinsale and even has an interesting Wine Cave from which you can select your evening’s tipple! Guests can also enjoy an enticing menu in the more traditional Wharf Tavern, a cosy old style pub, popular with the locals, and where live entertainment is a regular feature. The hotel is also equipped with a modest leisure area including Sauna, Steam-room, Jacuzzi & Gym equipment.

The winding narrow streets of Kinsale are fascinating to explore, with a myriad of shops, pubs and restaurants to discover. Kinsale is also of great historical significance and is home to Charles Fort, perhaps the best example of a 17th century star shaped fort in Europe as well as an International Museum of Wine, and other interesting historical sites. For the energetic we would be delighted to arrange sailing, deep sea angling, horse riding, clay pigeon shooting, tennis or even quad biking... or you may prefer just to relax in our private lounge.
