ACCOMMODATION REVIEW
Radisson SAS St.Helens HotelThe Radisson SAS St. Helens Hotel, standing on magnificent formal gardens overlooking Dublin Bay in the distance, is one of the newest and finest hotels in Dublin. The hotel was formerly one of Ireland's most historic houses and has been meticulously restored and adapted with a new wing to provide luxury accommodation. The original house was built in 1750 as a home for Thomas Cooley, a local barrister and Member of Parliament. The home was purchased by Viscount Hugh Gough in 1851 and renamed St. Helen's.

The ballroom lounge with its distinctive marble central fireplace, pillars, unique minstrels and impressive chandeliers, is a relaxing retreat and an ideal location for afternoon tea. Guests can enjoy a drink in the Orangerie Bar set in a Victorian conservatory or sample some fine international food in the Lepanto Restaurant. Guests can relax in their beautifully appointed bedrooms, which offer every modern facility expected from a luxury hotel and are located in the newly constructed bedroom block which has been tastefully developed in Portland stone.

Dublin is one of Europe's most vibrant cities and is steeped in history and culture. The many museums and art galleries reflect the city's rich cultural heritage, whilst the famous Trinity College has represented the seat of Irish academia for centuries. You will find the finest designer shops alongside a range of traditional Irish shops and a multitude of pubs, bistros and restaurants. The many things to see include the Guinness Brewery, Christchurch Cathedral, Templebar, Grafton Street and the Phoenix Park, home to the Irish President and the largest enclosed park in Europe.
