Mount Falcon Country House Hotel and Estate was bought by the locally based Maloney brothers after they fell in love with it when visiting in 2002. They immediately set about an extensive EUR32 million building and refurbishments plan that included extending the original house and erecting a selection of luxurious courtyard houses and woodland lodges. Work has been undertaken in an extremely sensitive and discrete manner and is in fitting with the estate in general.
The 32 bedroom Mount Falcon Hotel has been luxuriously fitted out with the most discerning traveller in mind and includes an array of ground floor lounges and drawing rooms with comfy sofas, open fires and coffee tables scattered with books and magazines about fishing, hunting and country life in general. The 100 acres of grounds have been redeveloped and landscaped as required to incorporate lakeside and woodland walks.
