ACCOMMODATION REVIEW
The background to the name of this venue is almost as colourful as the place itself. Iragh Ti Connor ("The Inheritance of O'Connor") takes its name from lands held by Ciar, the first King of Kerry and his descendants, the O'Connors, who ruled the Kingdom of Kerry for over 1,000 years. The 19th Century building has recently been refurbished to the highest standards and today offers every modern convenience. A family run property, Iragh Ti Connor is situated within its own walled gardens at the top of Main Street in Ballybunion and you can rest assured that John (the owner) will take good care of you!
Iragh Ti Connor provides a unique combination of easy access to the bustle of Ballybunion whilst still preserving the privacy of the discerning guest. All guestrooms are spacious and well appointed, offering all the facilities you would expect to find in a 4 star hotel. The bar is a popular place for locals and guests alike and is the perfect place to exchange a story or two over a quiet drink. The restaurant is one of the finest places to dine in Ballybunion and is certainly one of the most popular, offering fresh local produce, culinary expertise and flair, and all complemented by a Baby Grand Piano. It is sure to leave you with a memorable dining experience.
